About Us
What started as a family-run business is 1959 is still a family-run business today only it is being operated by the next generation with some help from the third generation as well!
Our first range of greenhouses was built in 1999. Although the focus at the time, was on our wholesale business, the retail business took off and we have expanded twice since then. Otter Greenhouses now have a total of 45,000 square feet or just over 1 acre of space under one roof – making us the largest greenhouse in the area. We employ between 10 and 15 people seasonally each year.
We have built our reputation on exceptional customer service, high quality garden decor and excellent value. We do our absolute best to make sure that when you walk through the door, there will be someone available to help you immediately – whether it’s just pointing you in the right direction or helping you pick out exactly what you need to plant your own custom work.
Being a proud member of the Port Perry and Uxbridge communities, the greenhouse is also actively involved in fundraising for local schools, churches and other groups.
